• Controls: Offers a modernized control layout for new players alongside a legacy layout for players who prefer the original feel.
• Co-op and Multiplayer: Campaign supports split-screen co-op on consoles and online co-op across platforms; Versus multiplayer targets up to 120 FPS with improved visual fidelity.
• Cross-play and Cross-progression: Cross-play is enabled across supported platforms. Cross-progression is available when signed in with a Microsoft account.
• Xbox Series X|S optimizations: Native optimizations include faster load times, 4K assets, remastered textures, updated lighting, shadows, and reflections, HDR/Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos support, and high-frame-rate multiplayer.

• Technical notes: 4K, HDR, and high-frame-rate modes require capable displays. Campaign split-screen co-op is not available on PC or handhelds.
